Meet the Specialists

Overview

A cough that keeps coming back can leave you tired, interrupt your sleep and make everyday activities uncomfortable. You may also wonder why it is happening or whether you need further help.

At Aman Hospital’s Cough Unit, adults and children receive coordinated assessment from specialists in lung health, ear, nose and throat care, and digestive health.

When Should You Seek Help?

Arrange a medical review if your cough lasts more than three weeks, keeps returning or affects your sleep and daily activities. Seek help sooner if it is getting worse.

Children with a cough lasting more than four weeks should be assessed. You do not need to wait that long if your child seems unwell or has breathing difficulties.

Seek urgent medical attention for difficulty breathing, chest pain or coughing up blood.
